Who Else Wants to Improve Their Golf Swing and Handicap?

Improving your golf swing is one way to improve your golf handicap.
One of the greatest joys in any sport is to improve your performance. This is true in golf as much as any other sport, but as in most sports beginning is easy. It's when you get down to trying to improve that things start to get difficult!
It's all too easy to struggle on without quality coaching. You develop bad habits and then reinforce them through constant bad practice. Even an advanced player needs to be aware of developing bad habits.
There is no denying that a lot of skill is needed and a lot of amateurs receive little or no constructive quality coaching in improving their golf swing, and thereby their golf handicap.
The good news is that whatever your level, beginner or advanced, you can always improve your golf swing. You can certainly improve following quality coaching.
Even if you have quite a good handicap there is always room for improvement.
Believe me it's no fun being mediocre month after month after month!
SO HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF TO IMPROVE YOUR GOLF SWING:
1. First there is the head of the golfer to consider. What is it doing? Where is it looking? You do not want to hit the top of the ball. So look at the side where you need to hit it.
2. What is the mind doing? Is it concentrating on the job in hand, or wandering of to the next beer in the clubhouse? What the mind is doing is all important! A random thought passing through your mind at a critical moment will spoil your shot.
3. What are the feet doing? The position of the feet and legs are important in addressing the ball. Are you standing with both feet flat and securely placed on the ground, the weight equally divided between them with heels a shoulder width apart?
4. Upward swing. In the upward movement of the club there must be no swaying of the body.
5. Downward swing. The club should gradually gain speed from the moment of the turn until it is in contact with the ball, so that at the moment of impact its head is travelling at its fastest pace. Be careful not to dwell at the turn of the swing. Keep the motion smooth.
Obviously there is much more to a good golf swing than mentioned here!
Now to go out on the course with your buddies and surprise them with your new found skills works wonders for your own self esteem.
Why waste effort with a mediocre golf swing when, with a little effort, you could be well above average? Are YOU ready to play the best golf in YOUR life?
