Read This Article Before Choosing Your Taylormade R7 Driver

More specifically we will be looking at a Taylormade R7 425 driver
This club incorporates a 425 cc club-head which helps create a fantastic MOI, movement on inertia, with super-forgiveness on off-centre hits.
Ultra-thin wall technology promotes thin, yet strong club-head walls. This allows over 40 grams of weight to be saved which is then used to create TLC (Taylormade launch control) technology.
TLC technology, also known as moveable weight technology (MWT), means the club is fitted with four ports and four moveable cartridges which allows you to change your launches for longer, straighter drives. Moveable weight technology includes 28 grams. Two 12 gram and two 2 gram cartridges which offer six launch conditions as opposed to one allowing you to customise your launch conditions.
What these weights are designed to do is move the COG, (centre of gravity) toward the front, back, heel or toe of the club depending on your preferences.Tuning the centre of gravity allows you to promote a draw or neutral ball flight.
You adjust the weights with the wrench that is provided with the club.
All golfers are have different swing speeds so you will need to play with a little 'trial and error' to find your perfect launch condition but we found that
For a draw, put the two heaviest weights on the heel side.
For a fade, put the two heaviest weights on the toe side.
For a low flight, put the two heaviest weights at the front of the club.
For a high flight, put the two heaviest weights at the back of the club
These R7 drivers also incorporate inverted cone technology which expands the portion of the clubface that delivers high COR, (coefficient of restitution), for consistently long drives. Slightly closed clubface alignment is attractive and promotes increased confidence and accuracy.
You will have no problem purchasing these clubs from recognised outlets, the only problem with purchasing these clubs on the internet is the amount of counterfeit clubs that are around. Some are very poor quality and are obvious to anyone that they are fake, some on the other hand are extremely good. Check the actual weight of the cartridges, some 12 gram weights have been known to weigh as little as 7 grams. Also check for serial numbers on the clubs.
Other Taylormade R7 drivers include the R7 super-quad driver, R7 460 driver, R7 limited driver, R7 draw driver and the R7 CGB driver.
