Improve your putting and you will improve your scoring. In an average round putting makes up about 43% of the strokes. Putting assessments identify parts of your putting game which need improvement and provide a baseline from which to measure improvement, as a bonus many of the assessments make excellent practice routines. Baseline assessments have specific measurable results. For example: Putt ten balls from eight feet. How many putts did you sink? The result is your percentage of putts made from eight feet. If you make three putts of ten your percentage is 30%. The tour standard from a distance of eight feet is approximately 50%. You can reasonably target up to a 20% improvement from the eight foot range if your goal is to putt like the pros.
